Indian music maestro A.R. Rahman has won two Oscar awards for Best Original score and Best Original Song for Slumdog Millionaire, directed by Danny Boyle. We have had nominations for the Oscars before, but this year the Slumdog Millionaire, though, technically not an Indian film, has made Indians the world over swell with pride. However, AR Rahman’s win, comes as the crowning glory and he truly deserves the honour not just for this movie bit for the fabulous music he has been making for little less than a decade.
