Bharathi, who is the latest sensation from Kollywood, is finally drifting into the direction of Malayalam cinema. The beauty rose to fame with her daring role of a sex worker in the memorable film Ammuvagiya Naan, which was a big hit in Tamil Nadu, had a reasonable run in Kerala also.
Now, Bharathi is coming to Kerala with her new film Aayudham directed by M.A Nishad. The actress is one of the heroines opposite noted Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi. Bharathi have already started shooting for the movie and is pretty happy with the significance of the role that she has been assigned.
The actress was disappointed when she was not able to give dates for Annan Thampi in which she was offered a role with Mammootty. The role of Kanimozhi which Bharathi was supposed to play was later assigned to Lakshmi Rai. The film went on to become one of the biggest hits in recent times.
