Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi is now facing his first ever trouble, just two days after he has launched his new political party 'Praja Rajyam' in Tirupathi on August 26, as another man called Andhrite CK Reddy, a resident of Cuddapah district in Andhra Pradesh, has already filed an application before the Election Commission seeking to register his party in the same name!
The Election Commission sources said that Reddy has filed his application nearly four months ago and the EC has also processed his application. The Commission also sent a reply to him. With Reddy's application pending, Chiranjeevi cannot name his party 'Praja Rajyam'.
However, if Reddy withdraws his application, the teething trouble for Chiranjeevi could come to an end. The Commission is yet to examine the application of the megastar. It may take another a week to process the application of Chiranjeevi, the sources said.
