"Extraordinary!" was the word used by Rajinikanth to describe the year's most-awaited and hyped Tamil film, Dasavathaaram, after watching the film at a special screening in Chennai on Wednesday. Superstar Rajinikanth was the most special invitee of the Kamal Haasan's magnum opus, Dasavathaaram, which was attended by a select invitees from the Tamil film industry.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan responded to NDTV's question (in an interview on Thursday) whether Kamal would act with Rajinikanth, saying: "One is possible and other is not feasible in the sense that if you pay Mr. Rajni and me, then what will you make the film with? It could be a play which will be cheaper."
Dasavathaaram, one of the costliest Indian films ever to be made, will hit screens on Friday (June 13) with 1000 prints. The movie will be released in 21 theatres in Chennai for the first time with over 135 shows in a single day. Over 120 prints have been distributed in Chennai alone.
Dasavathaar, the Hindi version, will be released two weeks later. The movie is also poised for a big opening in Hyderabad, where it is to be released in over 25 theatres. Meanwhile, the animation film Dasavathaar is also set for release on June 13.
