Jayasurya's comic entertainer Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam, director V.K. Prakash's musical romantic thriller Positive, Jayaram’s Paarthan Kanda Paralokam, and the dubbed movie American Halwa are the four major releases likely to grace theatres this weekend.
Preview reports say that Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam will be a hilarious entertainer in which Jayasuriya plays the role of Shakespeare Pavithran, a scenarist. Produced under the banner of Kamalam Films and directed by debutantes Shaiju and Shaji, the movie also features Kalabhavan Mani in a humorous role after a couple of years. Other cast members include Roma, Jagathy Salimkumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Rajan P. Dev, Siddique and Anoop Chandran.
Positive, a story of a group of youngsters and their positive mindsets, is another upcoming movie by Jayasuriya, featuring Sooraj, Saikumar, Manikuttan, Jagathy, T.G. Ravi, Augustine, Maala and Bindu Panikkar in important roles. The movie, penned by ace scriptwriter S.N. Swamy, is produced under the banner of Fabulance Entertainments. Lyrics by Sarath Vayalar are composed by Alex Paul.
Paarthan Kanda Paralokam, which is directed by Anil and scripted by Rajan Kiriyath, is a crucial film for Jayaram who is facing a lot of downs these days. The movie is said to be a hilarious comedy featuring Mukesh, Jagathy, Vijayaraghvan, Mamtha, Kalabhavan Mani, and Rasika in main roles.
American Halwa is the Malayalam remake of a Telugu movie directed by Deva Kaushik Katta, starring Raja, Parvathy Melton, Mohit, Kishore, Madhu Reddy and Shalini in the major roles.
