Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will inaugurate the 6th Annual International Children Film Festival on January 7 in Bangalore. Actor Upendra is the brand ambassador of the festival, which takes place simultaneously in four places: Mysore, Mandya, Hubli and Belgaum and Bangalore.
Featuring films from India, Iran, Sweden, China, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Italy, America and Denmark, the festival will have workshops on animation, seminars on children’s film movement in India, screening of environment films and role of mass media in creating environment awareness.
The Indian films at the festival are Pasanga (Tamil), Amulyam (Telugu), Bettadapurada Ditta Makalu (Kannada), Harun Arun (Gujarati) and Tsunami (Hindi).
