After a string of flops, Jayaram is desperately in need of a hit. The actor is now looking forward and hoping his new film, Parthan Kanda Paralokam, will prove to be a superhit.
Director Anil's Parthan Kanda Paralokam is a film on the Naxal movement. Anil has co-directed many hits with his partner Babu, and is an experienced hand. The Anil-Babu team has earlier teamed up with Jayaraj for the blockbuster Pattabishekam.
In the new film, Jayaram plays the role of Parthan, a Naxal-influenced atheist who fights for the common man. Jagathy Sreekumar plays the antagonist who is also Parthan’s landlord uncle.
The film also has Kalabhavan Mani and Mukesh in significant roles. Sri Devika plays the love interest of Jayaram. Music for the film is composed by P. Jayachandran. The film is expected to release on March 22.
