Kabaddi is a team sport with seven players each in two teams, sending a "raider" across to the opposite team to tag or wrestle them "out" before returning to the home half. Many movies (Ghilli in Tamil, Kabaddi Kabaddi in Telugu) have used this game in the climax. Now, Mollywood too will have the game of kabaddi. A movie Kabaddi Kabaddi is being made, but it has nothing to do with the game!
Kabaddi Kabaddi, featuring Kalabhavan Mani and Mukesh in the lead, has started shooting at Eerattupetta. The movie, directed by Sudheer Manu tells the story of two brothers, both working for the police and both at loggerheads with each other. For the first time, actress Rambha will appear in a double role.
Also featuring Saikumar, Suraj Venjaaramoodu, Harishri Ashokan, Jagathy, Mani C. Kaappan and Bindu Panikkar, the movie will be a hilarious entertainer with a script by Shafi Khadar. Produced under the banner of Souparnika Productions, it will be distributed by Remya Release. Popular singer; actor Nadirshah will debut as music director through his film.
