Jayaram’s Magic Lamp, which has been in cold storage for the past eight years is ready for the ‘real’ release. The movie was released last week with just one print in Kothamangalam. Not discouraged by the lukewarm response from the public, the producers of the movie are bravely going ahead to release the film this week in several theatres.
Magic Lamp was started in 2000 and all the names associated with film are big and famous. Jayaram plays four different roles in the film and Meena is the heroine. Also in the cast are Kalabhavan Mani, Jagathy, Janardhanan, Baiju, Kottayam Nazeer, Mamukoya and K.P.A.C. Lalitha.
Haridas is the director with the story being written by director-script writer Renjit. Script and dialogues are by Sibi K.-Thomas-Udhayakrishna team. Music is composed by Ouseppachan and lyrics are by Kaithapram. The movie will have its official release this weekend.
