Reigning South Indian actress Nayantara takes a U turn in her career! This glam girl, who scorched the screen with her bikini appearance in Billa, will be part of an art Malayalam flick to be directed by National award-winning director Shyamaprasad, it is said.

Sources close to her say that she was impressed by a script narrated by the director recently. Titled Electra, an adaptation of a Greek play, Nayantara will essay the title role of Electra Alexander.

Talks are on with Tamil actor Arya to don the hero's role in this film; if that happens, Electra will mark his debut as a hero in Malayalam. Electra is produced by Vindhayan under the banner of Rasika Entertainments. More details are awaited.
