Actress Richa Pallod, who is currently busy shooting for superstar Mammootty's forthcoming family thriller Daddy Cool (scripted and directed by debutante Ashique Abu), will henceforth be known as 'Picha' Pallod! She earned this wonderful (sorry, wonder fool) name by losing a bet.

The episode goes like this. While the shooting of Daddy Cool was progressing, director Ashique Abu had asked Richa to report the set by 9 a.m., as Mammootty would be in the set on the same time. On the next day, Richa came earlier, almost at 8 a.m. and made a bet with the director that Mammootty would be late.

She agreed to change her name if she lost the wager. However, our punctual superstar was there sharp on time and Richa was fondly given the nickname 'Picha' by the director. Mammootty, who was unaware of this, enjoyed the joke.

In Daddy Cool, Richa Pallod appears as Annie, wife of Mammootty. Daddy Cool narrates the story of a cricket-loving police officer named Antony Simon (Mammootty) and his son. Indrajith and Kalabhavan Mani play key roles in this film produced by Alvin Antony and Khader Mayyazhi under the banner of Wall Green Productions.
