In fact, it is a rebirth for the movie Shambhu, which came to a halt after completing sixty percent of its shoot a couple of years ago! Many thought that the movie will be shelved, due to its extreme delay. The latest news is that Shambhu, directed by K.B. Madhu, featuring Vijayakumar in the title role, has started shooting for its second and final schedule at Kochi.
Sindoori who caught attention through her performance in the Tamil hit Boys makes her Malayalam debut in Shambhu. The movie also marks the return of Babu Antony as villain after a long time. This campus based movie also features Karthika, Santhosh Pali, Riaz Khan, Rajan P Dev, Machan Varghese, Karthika, Geetha, Beena and so on.
Produced under the banner of DTS Productions by Rajneesh and Ashraf Bedy, Shambhu has music by Jassie Gift, cinematography by Jibu Jacob and editing by Don Max.
It is the fifth venture by director K.B. Madhu who had earlier directed films like Chitrashalabham, Deepasthambham Mahatcharyam, Vinayapoorvam, Vidyadharan and Deepangal Sakshi. Shambhu is expected to grace the theatres soon after Onam.
