Tamil-Malayalam actor Bala's new film Sivapuram, directed by veteran director Shaji Kailas’ former associate and debutante Unni Pranav, is progressing at a brisk pace in Thodupuzha.

Touted to be a family-oriented subject with a considerable amount of action, it stars Biju Menon, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Indrans, Sreejith Ravi, Manraj, Divya, Thanima, Kalpana, Usha, Kulapulli Leela and others in important roles.

Sivapuram is produced by Ansal and M. Nazar under the banner of United Films. Script is by K.V. Anil and cinematography by Lal Kannan, who did the camera work for Chithrashalabhangalude Veedu. Shan has set music to lyrics written by Anil Panachooran, Jofi Tharakan and Balachandran.
