What happens in a film if an actress sees a creek or waterfall? Let's see what Malayalam actress Vimala Raman does in her debut Tamil film Raman Thediya Seethai directed by Moser Baer's K.P. Jagannath, featuring Cheran, Pasupathi, Nitin and Sathya.
The entire shooting of Raman Thediya Seethai is complete, including an extended scene of Vimala Raman bathing under a waterfall. For this wet scene, the director and costume designer first chose a white sari for Vimala, but she rejected this outright as wet white costumes are transparent. Finally, they settled for a green sari.
Everybody thought that she would be nervous while shooting the scene! But once she saw the waterfalls, she was so thrilled that her wet romp has come out very naturally on camera! (Wanna see the scenes? Just wait till the movie releases!)
Raman Thediya Seethai has five heroines – Vimala Raman, Gajala, Kaarthika, Ramya Nambisan and Navya Nair, who play important roles with Cheran. The big suspense is – who will marry the hero in the last reel?
