After having screened at several film festivals including Toronto International Film Festival, International Film Festival of India, and International Film Festival of Kerala, Adoor Gopalakrishnan’s Naalu Pennungal was now screened at the inaugural session of the Chitrabharathi section of the 2nd Bengalooru International Film Festival on Friday.
The movie, based on four short stories by veteran writer Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai, stars Nandita Das, Kavya Madhavan, Padmapriya, Gitu Mohandas, Remya Nambeesan, and Manoj K. Jayan. The week-long festival that started on Thursday is being organized by Suchitra Film Society in association with the Karnataka State Government and the Kannada film industry.
