We recently had the release of two cop movies, Mammootty-starrer Raudram followed by Suresh Gopi-starrer Sound of Boot. While Raudram truly rocked at the box office with several of Mammootty’s fans storming the theatres to see their superstar donning the role of a cop for the 25th time, Sound of Boot has also showed a decent opening at the box office.
But after cops, it's now the turn of thieves. Dileep, who played a thief in Meesa Madhavan, is back as a thief in his forthcoming Mulla directed by Lal Jose. The movie, set against the background of a railway colony, will present Dileep with a tonsured head.
Then there is Prithviraj’s new film Robinhood, which will feature him as a thief aiming to burgle all the ATMs in the state. P.K. Muralidharan and Shantha Murali co-produce the film directed by Joshy and scripted by Sachi and Sethu.
