Filmmaker Anwar Rasheed’s Annan Thambi will have Tamil actress Bharathi starring opposite Mammootty. Young Bharathi rose to fame with her spectacular performance in Parthiban’s film, Ammuvagiya Naan, in which she played the role of a sex worker.
She has also signed two more Tamil films, Agathiyan’s Nenjathai Killadhae starring Vikranth and Thakkali Srinivasan’s Chatru Mun Kitaithth Thagaval. Annan Thambi is her first Malayalam film, being produced by Shahul Hameed Marikkar and Anto Joseph under the banner of Marikkar Films.
The movie stars Mammootty as two brothers.
