Director Fazil has completed 25 years in the field of cinema. His first movie was Manjil Virinja Pookkal. There was no looking back for this talented director. Talented is just a small word. There are no words to acknowledge his achievements. He has a total of 29 films to his name. Though small in number all his films have turned out to be hits and are still appreciated by many. The movies that won him State awards are Manjil Virinja Pookkal, Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu, Ennennum Kannettante and the famous Manichitrathazhu, which has now been remade in Tamil by P. Vasu as Chandramukhi in Tamil and Aaptha Mitra in Kannada. His “finds” in film industry are now stalwarts like Mohanlal, Nadia, Baby Shalini, Kunchacko Boban and Khushboo. A talented artist is never given the negative signal by Fazil.
