V M Vinu's new film named Bus Conductor with Mammootty in the lead role began on September 15 at Palakkad. In Bus Conductor, he plays Kunjaka, a bus conductor who can be spotted in many private buses in Malabar area of the state. The film’s story and screenplay is written by T A Rasak. Rasak’s father was a bus driver and the son has taken a leaf from the father’s life to write the screenplay of the film. The film is produced by Vaishak Movies. The shooting of Mammootty's Rajamanikyam was completed on September 10. In this film, Mammootty plays the role of a buffalo dealer; a nouveau riche arrogant man abandoned by parents and is now going back to his roots.
