Director-actor R. Parthiban approached Meera Jasmine to be the heroine for his new Tamil film Pachakuthira. Since the script required her to perform some kissing scenes with the hero Parthiban, she refused to act in the movie. But she is not the only heroine who refused to kiss Parthiban on screen. Namitha too reportedly refused the same role for the same reason.
