Festive releases are sure to have at least one Mohanlal starrer and one Mammootty starrer competing at the box office. As for Onam, Mohanlal’s Alibhai was released first followed by the release of Mammootty’s Ore Kadal. However both movies did not taste outstanding success at the box office.
This Ramzan, it's again Mohanlal’s film that will be released first, followed by the release of Mammootty’s film. While Mohanlal-starrer Paradesi releases on October 11, Mammootty-starrer Nasrani releases on October 12. Paradesi is directed by Kunjumuhammed while Nasrani is directed by Joshy.
