Vinayan's movie Adbhutadweepam, (about an island filled with men who are dwarfs and pretty women who are normal), starring Prithviraj, Mallika Kapoor and Jagathi, which was earlier dubbed and released in Tamil, will now be dubbed and released in Telugu too. This film marked the entry of model turned actress Mallika Kapoor into films. Malavika appeared in a hot item number in the same movie.
Filmmaker Vinayan, known for making films based on different themes, will have two releases this year. First comes Athisayan, a science thriller starring Master Devdas, produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies. His next movie slated for Vishu release is Black Cat starring Suresh Gopi in the lead role.After this comes a movie during the summer vacation, which is expected to attract more children in the audience.
