While we recently heard several Malayalam directors moving to Kollywood, director Rajasenan has some different plans. He is going to direct Sukumara, a Kannada film starring newcomer Karthick in the lead. This maiden venture of the Confident group was launched recently at their corporate office in Bannerghatta Road. Gauri Munjal plays the female lead.
Rajasenan said that he is directing a non-Malayalam film for the first time and is happy that he got an opportunity to direct a Kannada film. Rajasenan’s last film, Romeo, starring Dileep in the lead, was a slapstick entertainer that fetched good response at the box office.
