Sneha was once known as one of the few actresses in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies who refused to take up glamourous roles, as she believes that her 'homely roles' are appreciated by all South Indian audience. However, when many heroines including Nayantara clicked their success with glamour roles, Sneha wanted to do the same. The actress finally accepted a skimpy show in Pandi starring Raghava Lawrence in the lead role. But it was a completely disappointing show and she received no enticing offers subsequently.
Now, Sneha has decided to get back to her old image, performing only homely girl roles in all her forthcoming projects. Wow!
"Audiences like to see me as a girl-next door. And I will live up to their expectations. I abhor anything vulgar, be it costume or filming. So there is no question of any image makeover," she reportedly said in a recent interview.
"Even if I performed a glamorous role in Pandi, it did not mean that I am permanently turning away from my usual style; this glam-doll image was accepted as the script demanded it," said Sneha, who won laurels doing homely roles in films including Pirivom Sandhippom, Parthiban Kanavu, April Madhathil, etc.
As Sneha’s 50th film is the sequel to Autograph, which won many hearts right from its release, her fans will be surely excited because they are going to see Sneha back in her original style again!
