There are two identical looking Kavya. One is the conservative girl working in a health center looking after the family which consists of her brother Jagathy a petty politician, an uncle and his mentally ill wife, a sick grandmother. The other girl is a medico. Amidst all this poverty comes Indrajith a doctor in the health center to marry co worker Kavya but its foiled by Jagathy who speaks ill of Indrajith抯 father a Muslim.
Indrajith agrees to wait for Kavya. Now enters the medico Kavya. She meets Dilip a moneylender on the lookout for Jagathy. Dilip comes with an offer to marry the medico but the family thinks it抯 for the health center Kavya. In comes Arun again with his proposal. The clearing up of the confusion forms the climax.
The film抯 overdose of tragic characters and no element of entertainment is its minus point. The soft and bold girl roles are handled well by Kavya but unfortunately these characters have come before on screen offering nothing new. Jagathy scores while others have not much to do. Dilip in the cameo role steals the show and is the saving grace of the film. Music and camerawork is average.

Comment:
The film is a tearjerker, a mushy mushy melodrama. Watch it
if you are a Kavya and Dilip fan. |
